Art, music and science.
A new Real Teatro de Retiro production
Have you ever wondered why some moments seem to last forever, while others slip away in a second? How do we measure an instant that transforms us? A blink in suspension is an artistic experience that invites us to stop, look, and listen to time in a different way.
Structured as a journey through various unconventional spaces, the audience encounters scenes that combine music, movement, visual arts, and science, giving an aural form to the invisible: waiting, transformation, the desire to stop time, or the confusion of being trapped in it. This performatic experience focuses on the reflection about the equilibrium between what we see, hear, and feel. It creates a dialogue in which the audience is invited to participate. Audience is not a mere passive recipient: they are invited to leave their „mark in time,“ thus shaping the final scene of the performance.
Farout Artistic Research presents a multidisciplinary work to explore, explore, and reflect on our perception of the environment and the poetics of time.
